The Detroit Mans Room is the blog-site where Detroit Fans can vent the same way you would around the water cooler, at the barber shop, the bar or watching in the comfort of their own Man’s Room watching the game with family & friends. We’re sports fans that are talking about all Detroit Sports whether it’s professional or collegian; Football, basketball, baseball and ultimately adding hockey to our site as well. Lions, Pistons, Tigers and our Hockey Town Red Wings are our primary focus. We look across the board of the top four professional sports leagues. The Wolverines and Spartans are the collegian teams that we follow. We also give our input on NCAA football and basketball.

In addition to all the sports buzz in what we believe is the world’s best sports city, we give our opinions on other various topics such as food (bar-b-que), beer, fine women, video games, movies, creating your mans room & much much more.

Jason (Smitty) here to set the tone in The DMR with high fives and chest bumps for my team. I’m a family man, a beautiful wife and two sons. Born and raised in the Motor City I inherited my work ethic from my parents. After studying multiple trades I decided to become my own boss; that and my passion for sports brought me here. All men need a place to go to yell at the television set; Welcome to The Detroit Man’s Room. Here, I hold the remote and I specialize in making sports fans eat their words. Pull up a stool, grab a beer and Let’s Get it Crackin!!!

I would like to thank The Heavenly Father for giving me this opportunity. WHAT UP DOE!! I go by the name Ca L (pronounced KL), & I’m the antagonist of the group. Proudly born and bread in the city of Detroit, I try to passionately present a heartfelt point of view with a real EDGE to it. I’m a hardworking entrepreneur, who applies a blue~collar work ethic to a white~collar approach. GET IT HOW YOU LIVE!! I come from a large family of eight, where I am the fourth of six children. I’m very family~oriented, and having this background (where you HAD to come strong in order to challenge older siblings) has shaped my argument style to a never~die stance. Never afraid to challenge “the establishment”, I often take the less popular opinion in order to destroy conventional thinking. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!! I would like to take this opportunity introduce myself. My name is Richard A. Davis (R.A.D.). I was born and raised in Detroit. I played Think Detroit P.A.L. Football for the Westside Panthers, after which, I took my talents to Detroit Martin Luther King Jr., Sr. High School. I went to college & played college football in Minnesota, where I learned to open myself up to try new and different things. When I came back home, I jumped right into coaching Detroit youth. From football to basketball, I’ll coach it all. I’m just that good. As my family grew, I had to put coaching to rest. My wife and I are raising two boys who are already Detroit sports fans, and another Detroit sports fan will be joining our family in Spring 2011.

On my blog, I will give readers my honest opinion. I try to be creative and post blogs that people want to read. I speak from the heart and I don’t hold back. I’m the guy who will call you out when you just don’t know what you’re talking about. So come correct and know your facts.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Rob, A.K.A. SNO, A.K.A. Hockey8Player. I am originally from Detroit. However, a knee injury ended my very short hockey career, so I decided to join the Army directly out of high school. I am stationed in Augusta, GA with my beautiful wife and soon to be 1 year old daughter.
My blog entries will cover all four of Detroit’s sports teams as well as the Spartans and Wolverines. Please remember when reading my blogs that I am not an expert. I am simply a thick headed fan who drinks WAY TOO MUCH Detroit sports Kool-Aid. I like to bring an outsiders view of the sports scene to our readers.
